This is another program that is almost soely focused on improving core strength. While this is a fairly narrow view of fitness, the exercises are sound and great improvements in strength are very possible.

It's important to build you core in an effort to create a solid base with which to improve the strength in your extremedies (legs and arms). With just these exercises, which cover the chest, stomache, sides and back, you will see improvements in energy, weight, and tone. There is no more important place at which to start a fitness regiment than from your core! You want to see toned abs and a ripped chest? It's all core baby.

As for this particular program- it's long, grueling, and you will find zero fluff here. Everything is designed from day 1 to make you sore and force your body to adapt. If you stick to this program, massive fat loss and weight gains are possible. Plus, as previously stated, this will get you ready for a more advanced program to be done in the future where you can fill out your arms and legs.

The author is reputable, having a CSCS certification, writing for Men's Fitness, and lecturing at the NCSA. The man behind the program, Jim Smith, is dedicated to helping people meet their personal fitness goals. This program has become widely accepted as one of the standards for core strength training, and is a worthwhile investment.

I do have a minor issue with the content of this product. It's a little narrowly focused; Rather than taking a look at overall fitness, which is the best idea in my opinion, it only covers core strength. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, but it doesn't mesh with many training pholosophies.
